San Jose, CA (July 25, 2006) - Blunk Microsystems, in collaboration with Philips Semiconductors, has released TargetTCP/Nexperia 2006.2 (NEX-TCP-20062). As the high-performance embedded TCP/IP stack of choice for Nexperia/TriMedia multimedia processors, this latest update includes the following changes:
- Added Traceroute support via netTraceRoute().
- Added raw socket and packet support for compatibility with Atheros Wi-Fi driver (AF_PACKET) and traceroute (SOCK_RAW).
- Merged the common IPv6 changes into TargetTCP so that the IPv6 code will plug into it.
- Added dead gateway detection. Now adding new default gateway to end of list, rather than head, when a new one is added.
In addition, TargetTCP/Nexperia with IPv6 (NEX-IPV6-20062) was just shipped, with support for IPv6 loopback connections.
